Well it's back

And much better! Man I loved the first one, but this one looks great from the videos I've seen...

New, faster cars. For instance the Mitsubishi Lancer seems to have been replaced by the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII! At least that's what it looked like from one of the videos.

Better motion blur effects.

Much improved backgrounds

Also, this was a surprise. There is an "Outrun mode" now. It is possible that this could just be a mode that was already but is done differently, but from the video, it looks kinda like Tokyo Highway battle type stuff. Only difference I noticed is that when the race is won, that's it... you stop.

One bad think I saw is corporate branding filth within the game. Two that I saw are Burger King and Cingular.

Woot! Burger King!

Dood, Tokyo Highway Battle was the ONLY racing game I ever liked... I have the game upstairs in my room in the event I wanna play again. Cool when you get it I may play it.

I loved the first one. It's really one of the first racing games I really got into and from the looks of it they made some major improvements. I can't wait until november.

Will it have online capabilities??
