I had never even heard of this until a few min ago then I went online to check it out. It’s directed by Quentin Tarantino and produced by the guys who did crouching tiger hidden dragon.
From the preview it looks pretty similar to Crouching tiger, but I am sure it will be much more violent hehe.

Acctualy it was not directed by QT, not trying to start a fight, just the truth. THis movie was released in 01 or 02, forget, in china and has been in theators and for sale on DVD in pretty much every other major country allready. It has QT's endorsement in order to convince Miramax to release it here in the US, since they hold the US distro licence. I honestly don't know why Miramax has held back this movie's release for so long but I can tell you this, it kicks major ass, and yes I have seen it.
One can buy a legit Hero DVD legaly through variouse sources, they just all come from Hong Kong. This is what I did. cost me $15US to have it shiped to me, and this movie allready has english subtitles on the DVD.
Basicaly Miramax is not changing the movie one bit, no dubbing, no changing of the subtitles, they are jsut taking the original release from china and releasing it here, allthough a bit(lot) late. |

Hahhaa. I saw a copy of it at the CD Tower place in Buford today. I almost picked it up. Az, you shoulda snagged it.

Yes, you should check it out. I thought it was an absolutly kick ass movie. A couple years old or not it is wounderful. Absolutly as good as it looks. |
