I love the style

If you haven't seen Kill Bill Vol. 1, I pity you. Go see it now, at a friends, rent it, buy it, what ever. Notice the anime scene? That is by a man named Nakazawa Kazuto, or in english, Kazuto Nakazawa. He also did a video for an American Rock band....Linkin Park. I advice the viewing of both of these materials as soon as possible, just because I love that art style, and hopefully it will become a main stream style following Spirited Away. One can only Pray.

Man, Kill Bill vol. 1 & 2 where great movies. I pretty much like all of Q.T.'s movies. That was very interesting how they worked that anime scene into the first flick.

I do love that style for both kill bill and the LP video.

I liked what happened in the kill bill anime even more, it was twisted and it appealed to me.

I'm gonna offer dissent to people, but I did not think that Vol. 1 was really that good. In fact, I found it overhyped. All Tarantino did was try to be a live action Anime in the vain of Mezzo Forte, Kite, and others. But I really thought that anything he did in the movie, I saw done just as well and if not better in Animes.

Stick Vol 1 against something like Cowboy Bebop: Knockin' on Heavens' Door, and I'll choose the Bebop please

Yeah..Just don't put it up against "Cowboy Bebop: The Movie" there was a sh!t fest.

I actually don't like the art style used for the anime..At least the bedroom scene. When she was on the roof with the rifle it was good but the whole slicey fighty parts just made the animators look lazy. And he's prolly the same guy that did eps. 9 and 10 of "Dog Warriors of the Hakkenden" which was a great series that was made craptacular in Eps. 9 and 10.

I'm with the Reverend on this one. I was terribly unimpressed with Kill Bill 1, especially with how wonderful I heard it was. Mostly it just struck me as entirely stupid. The only things that I liked about it were the appearance of Takako Chigusa from Battle Royale (I can't for the life of me remember her name, but she was GoGo) and the end actually held some promise for some sort of plot development.

..Although I don't like anything about Cowboy Bebop either, so I'm not -entirely- on the Rev's side. xD

Fine then, insert your own choice of anime you thought was better than Kill Bill 1, I was just fishing for a violent anime with a sense of style.

How does Samurai X work for you, then? It's violent but beautiful. ^__^ ..so's Battle Royale, but it's not an Anime.
