As for the people being jerks....people are jerks because without the jerks, there'd be no way to tell who were the good people and who were the bad people. : \

Thank you, thank you. I was worried that nobody would pick up on that thread.

But wouldn't it be better to have a world where nobody needed to worry about people being good or bad (preferably because everyone is good, but I could still say it would be a better world even if everyone were evil - you'd just avoid people until the race extinguished itself.)

I know that there must be some balance in the world becauswe if there were no line drawn one couldnt really be sure of what is going on. I guess a great deal of the current problem is me stressing over something that really shouldnt be an issue.
