the X is under his left eye on his cheek. And it was called Ruroni Kenshin in Japan originally, and our dubbing team called it Samurai X, changing names like Kaoru to Kory, and Yahiko to Yoshi. |

Bah..It's not a very good series anyway... "Lupin the Third" is better..hehehe And that's saying a lot cause I hate the French and Lupin is French for some reason. |

Lupin isn't French. Lapin is french for rabbit. Lupin is closer to Lupus, meaning wolf in latin.
Anyhow, I don't like the art style of Lupin III. Bad eighties graphics *shudder* If I wanted that I'd watch Speed Racer. |

Actually it's 70's... And the character Lupin is French. He's from a long line of French thieves.
He's trying to live up to his Grandfathers image who even his father could not match. |

Monkey Punch created the character as the grandson of the fictional French gentleman thief Arsene Lupin. The Lupin we know and love is the half japanese Grandson of the well known thief.
And for the best Lupin movie hands down, it goes to the Hayao Miyazaki directed "Castle of Caligostro" |

lupins cool...i only like the crazy 88 fight, and the anime in kill bill...im not even going into y i hate kill bill...i love the animation style though, its like the style in the one animatrix movie |

Heh...Lupin III is ironically on in the background as I write this. Anyway, Kill Bill was awesome....both of them that is. Most people I have talked to said that they liked 2 better, although I tend to lean toward 1. But that's not the point. I haven't seen enough anime to make the claim whether or not Tarantino was trying to make a live action anime...all I'm going by is that I saw him interviewed and he said that it was supposed to be based on all the old cheesy kung-fu movies, etc, that he used to watch when he was a kid. But whatever...that movie was awesome, no matter what people say...and the anime scenes was one of the best parts. |
