This month at work has been pretty slow and most of September will be really slow as well. Accept for Thursday the 23rd The very same day we will be leaving for AWA. How convientent that we will have to squeeze abuot 12 hours worth of work into an 8 hour period just so we can leave at a decent time and get to the con so we can enjoy it as much as humanly possible. I am not going to go into the specifics but let me just say that since I started in April I have not had as busy of a day as I will have on the 23rd of September. The shear volume of stuff that will need to be delivered is ungodly. By my calculations we will have actually get to work at about 6 am in order to even have the prospect of getting to leave by 6pm that evening. That is assuming that everything goes smoothly. I am looking at going to work at 6am and still being able to get us to Atlanta by a decent time the next morning. This is going to be hell and I am going to need some serious motivation or a lot of drugs to get through that day. It couldnt be an easy day that all we do is clean chairs and bounce houses, no. God forbid anything be made easy on Faye or Dai. But by god I am coming to AWA. I may not be able to do anything but lay around in a coma like state, but I will be there.

Don't worry, sweet. You could always have a nice long nap before actually going to the Con itself. Afterall, there are three days and we'll all understand if you miss one just 'cause you were worked too hard!

You didnt get to hear the best part! For us its a 13 hour drive, so we have to leave Sunday at like friggin 1pm becuase - guess what - theres some OTHER giant friggin emergency delivery that requires our special attention at 8am monday morning.

My boss used to be a stoner, so he is pretty easy going. . .with just about every thing lol
I used to work at best buy though, so I know what pricks bosses can be. It was so bad I stayed away from best buy for about a year cause I grew to hate the place so much.

Its not so much that my boss is a bitch. Its just that she doesn't seem to care that we have had the weekend planned for 4 months. If she was a bitch she would have fired me for breaking the Mararita machine twice in one week.
