Wow....just wow.
I know I been waiting for another NG game for a long time, so if this disappointed me, I was going to kill all the people at Tecmo slowly for killing the game.
Luckily, this is one of the best games I played in a while...and definitely the best of the old school comebacks. Though it is hard. Very hard. But that is forgivable. Makes the game more interesting.
And go Nunchaku! You can get some pretty nice combos with that weapon. 56 hits is my highest so far with them (36 with the Dragon Sword). |

I finally got my hands on this recently. Why did every one say it was so hard? Once I got the combat down the game wasn't really hard at all. I am playing through on Hard now with minimal difficulty. |

I stopped playing the game b/c teh camera was so freaking bad.
And I'm not about to pay for xbox live just to get the new camera fixes.
Things like that should be free.
"Hey, we fudged up the camera. But you should pay $50 for the game anyway. Oh and here is the camera fix, you gotta pay for that too."

First time through, it was hard, but once you got the mechanics of the game and how to beat certain enemies, the game got pretty easy fast. Try the Hurricane Pack if you want a real challenge. It makes very hard look like normal.
Personally, I only had problems with the camera in chapter 16. Other than that, it worked fine for me. The new camera is alright. All they did was allow you to rotate without going into first person mode. But you can only use the camera for the hurricane pack...good luck trying to get far in that. Most people can't even last to the 3rd ninja battle in that mode. |

I just ended up hitting the left trigger all the time, could have been better but I have seen much much worse cameras. All in all I had no major beefs |
