We worked together. Christmas came round, and we were planning a double date on christmass eve. Work ends, and her mom shows up, and she says her mom's making her go home and pack instead. So she goes. Due to some confusion she had with the manager, she never shows up again. No one knows why. Finally, probably about three weeks into January, I call her up again, and she tells me she's surprised to hear from me. I tell her that we're all confused, and to call work and get things worked out, and by next week, her name has been removed from the schedule. The next time I spoke to her was in Suncoast, in early spring, probably march or april, when I was standing around looking at movies, and suddenly she walks in. Now, I don't normally pay attention to people around me, so she actually has to get in my face before I notice that she's there, but she does it, we exchange greetings and salutations and such, and then she follows her friends deeper into the store. The end. Haven't spoken to her since. Any thoughts? |

Hmmmm.... that depends on you.
If you are attracted to her, and you feel that it could work out, I say give it a shot.
But you have to be confident in yourself Therin. You have to be yourself. Act with her the same way you do when you are around Azurel. Hmmm... well maybe not like that. 
Seriously. Be yourself. And lastly, DON'T MAKE IT A DATE. Call her up and just say something like "Haven't talked to you in a while, wanna get together for lunch" Or dinner whatever works for you. Then just be her friend, and if it goes somewhere else from there, great. However you should still offer to pay.
I'm pretty sure I know where your hesitation. It boils down to this. All guys are afraid of rejection, right? The guys you always see with a girlfriend, are the guys that aren't afraid of rejection. Doesn't mean they weren't before. Basically, if you call her up and ask her to dinner or something like that, what is the worst that can happen. She'll say no right. Well how bad is that. Think about it. If she says no, has anything changed in your life from the time before you called her. No not really.
Be yourself.
Love yourself.
Call her!
If it works, great, if not, it wasn't meant to be.
Going back to soemthing you said earlier. In past relationships of mine, I have noticed that if I "try not to screw things up" they get screwed up. But if I just let things flow and don't think you are going to screw up, you probably won't.
Try to avoid the uncomfortable silence. Talk about something! Doesn't matter much. Some times it's good to talk about movies. Then you get to actors and actresses, then all of a sudden you are having an hour and a half conversation about the differnet movies an actor (who both of you like) is in.
Give it a shot.
