I got Cloud, but by then I didn't really care much anymore. I had Orlandu, Meliadoul, Reis as a human, and Beowulf. I didn't need poor little Cloud. I got him to the point where he learned Cross Slash, then I said "Buh-bye!" and went and beat the game.

His limits sucked... he has to charge them! That's lame! Some of them take as long to charge as Flare, and they don't do half as much damage!

Oh yeah, my Black Mage with a magic ability of 20... Flare does about 700 on average

Seriously. Ramza does two attacks, each of which hit for 500. I didn't even take my other people to fight Altima, I just killed her with Ramza in three or four turns, while she ran after Alma like a dumbface.

Stuck where I currently am.

My ninja Ramza kicks Wiegraf's ass, then Velius slaughteres me with his large casting area spells. Agrias as Holy Knight, Mustadio as Chemist, Shields as White Mage/Chemist combo, and a lancer form my main party. Ramza does about 250 damage a turn, white mage and usually mustadio get pwned before anything they can do, and Agrias soon gets slaughtered as well. Ramza usually gets gang raped. No matter how much I level =/

Velius is one BAAAAAD mothertrucker. He has in the area of 1200 HP.

What I did for this fight, Dub, is give Ramza Gemini Boots and Move-HP-Up. His class was Ninja, subclass Monk, with Punch Art so he could use Chakra. This makes Ramza move really, really fast, heal himself, and still kick total arse. Also, he had that one skill(can't remember what it's called) that makes him recover HP when he reaches critical condition. As for Agrias, she should be using Holy Explosion or Lightning Stab every chance she gets. Try and hit one of those Archaic Demons in the meantime--silencing or confusing them really helps. As for Mustadio, have him Snipe the Archaic Demons so that they can't use their Dark Holy and Giga Flare. One of my other characters was a Knight, who was really there for decoration more than anything else, and a Lancer, whose Jump is good for catching Velius while he's charging.

Hope that helps. You might have to start a new game. I did. Confused
