So Iraq had no WMD's, he had no capabilities to make them, he had to intent thus far to create the capabilities to create them. He had no links to terrorist, he had no link to 9/11.
But there NOW are links between Iraq and terrorism because bush has created them. By invading Iraq not only did it incite insurgents to rebel, it has also become a focus for terrorist groups which is giving them more zealots.
We are now mired in a conflict that has left over 1000 Americans dead thus far, and we are not getting out any time soon.
Discuss.

Here is something else to think about, the patriot act. And how it has robbed us of our rites given to us by the founders of this nation in the constitution. Here is a quote from one of the greatest thinkers of our countries history to think on.
Those who give up liberty for the sake of security deserve neither liberty nor security.
--- Ben Franklin

G.W. Bush a safer America, yeah rite.

Umm..They already proved that Hussein funded Al-Queda and we also found the wherehouse with over 500 shells ready for loading and found the bio-lab with the loads for the shells..All they needed was to bring them together.

I was gonna say the same thing. But it was ex post facto, so nobody really cares that they've been found now. They would have had to be found during the war for anyone to really care.

Hey look..Iraq was planning on bombing public schools..Just like they did to the Russians and Anselan..Or however it's spelled.

I'm so upset that Dub-ya stopped these kind caring people from organizing terrorist attacks on our children.

Reaper, I know ya don't like him, but ya gotta do your own research on this stuff. What your getting as 'info' on the news is mostly anit-Bush pro-Kerry slander. It's masked as media when it's really just mudslinging. Sad that this is the way it is. But honestly, think about it, Kerry was on Dr. Phil the other day and Phil's wife asked him. "Is one of your daughters more like you than the other?" Simple friggin question. His response, "Um...well...yes...I mean...no...well...I'd have to say...no...yes...no." Yes, he said it on national television. If he can't answer a simple friggin question about his daughter, something he should know of the top of his head, how is he going to make choices about national security, war, the patriot act, health care, education, subsidation of firms, the budget. I can't trust him farther than I can throw him.

The Patriot Act. America is THE 'freest' country on the planet. No other nation has the liberties that we have. Other countries get nailed to the wall by terrorists a lot more. Now that we are in the war against terror we are going to have to give up certain liberties in order to survive. It's time to step up to the plate ladies and gentlemen. We are gonna have some new rules but there for the better. Salut.

There are possibilities of good coming from a tighter security. However, there are also possibilities of great evils coming from it. There are several who have felt that the Patriot Act is introducing a more Orwellian sort of government, and that the rhetoric of the conflict is charged with a Thought Police sort of conclusion (either you're with us or you're with the terrorists)

Many agree that the dictator in Iraq was less than acceptable - they just don't appreciate the premise that was used is turning out to be a dud, or at least weaker than hyped.

Minorities in religion or in race are not happy with the President putting his personal beliefs as national policy and trying very hard to ensure that those beliefs are enshrined in law with the help of similar-thinking legislators.

Those points, I think, are where most people are aggravated by the Administration.

First lemme tackle problem number 1.

Most of news print these days is just opinionated fluff. They write what they want and the editors and reporters take their stand. So I rarely believe what I read and see these days. No I am not going to start living in a cabin in the woods and start a newspaper called the Excel Conspiracies. hmmmm catchy title... But as far as I see it, the news isn't to be trusted anymore. I only really listen when there is no-grey-area-fact-based news as I call it. Like Spaceship One or Mt. St Helens. and furthermore, I don't even believe in breaking news anymore. The last news break that shocked me was 9/11. Since then, news stations have wore this into the ground and desensitized me.

Now before you ask this is on topic, because it leads me to part two.

I read through the article that GAAZ sent us. Again media fluff I think. Let me break it down.

Problem 1: I get so tired of this saying...who are the "US Officials?"
Problem 2: The officials stressed there is NO specific threats.
Problem 3: If these "Officials" didn't give out names of districts to the media, how do they have them in the paper?
Problem 4: This state ment by Eugene Hickock "The horror of this attack may have created significant anxiety in our own country" Uhhhh I have yet to see this country settle down at all. I do like how he said "may have created" That whole statement sounds like he didn't even truely believe what he was saying (My opinion)

Finally number 3... If most of the stuff in the media is mudslinging or Anti Bush as Grallik said, I guarantee alot of the stuff that is said about Kerry is just Pro Bush Anti Kerry crap too. As far as what Kerry said to that freak of nature's wife, who gives a shit. What does this have to do with a man making informed decisions in the workplace? Even a workplace as big as 1600 Pennsylvania Ave is going to have people slipping up. That question is sorta loaded if you think about it. I don't think the inability to weed through your daughters personal similarities to yourself has anything to do with being untrustworthy when it comes to high power decisions.

Example: I work in a shop called Munitions Control. I have a seat of high power simply because I make decisions everyday on where to put our weaponry, how to treat them, and even how to protect them. I am the last line of defense between them and us when it comes to our stored arsenal. Two days ago I went up against a board as I was elected into the finalists for Airman of the Quarter. I sit in front of a panel of 5 high ranked enlisted people and tell them about myself and answer grilling questions. They asked me if I was married...I said no due to my intense nerves and then immediately corrected myself. Soon after of course I failed because I didn't keep proper military bearing and yet these people tell me everyday that they wouldn't ant anyone else in my seat but me.

I jus think looking at a few quotes and downing a man under pressure is bad.

But if you're going to attack someone like Kerry for messing up a question and misquoting or answering imporoperly, go look at Dubya...he has more stupid quotes and mess ups than I can count.

Now let me sum up by saying I am not for Kerry or Bush...I am just merely saying that media is crap, I don't think we should keep scaring the country with claims of terrorism when we have no proof. and let's stop busting on our government leaders for stupid piddly things like saying and bad answers. Remember, these men are in much higher pressure situations as us.

POST NOTE: I forgot to add this... the whole disk thing about the schools. We shouldn't just automatically jump to conclusions. Look at the facts...well the facts according to our media anyway...

We found a disk in Iraq that has school plans for preparation and response to crisis and what not. Where did it say on this disk that they will attack and this is how they get around our defenses? Therein lies the most fundamental problem of our society when it comes to inspection. We love to look at the surface and suddenly jump to every conclusion. Now I am not saying it's not possible. They could be planning something. However, a month ago I extensively researched actual terrorist activities of Al Queda and Iraq. I found details of what they do, how they do it, and what is the results. I saved all the info. Now let's pretend we are the media and we are investigating me. (I actually did this by the way. I have many files saved)

We find this disk that Excel has saved on with 1.44MB of plans, locations, and all this stuff about attacking America. As the media, the first step I shall take is to alert everyone and scare the shit out of them saying Excel is going to attack the Air Force installation.

Now let's look at it from Excel's point of view. When we monitor Excel, we find after a but of unearthing that he is actually the primary Anti-Terrorist point of contact for his Squadron and was saving and printing this stuff to pass out to his fellow Airmen so that they too could recognize a possible attack. See no threat there.

Again they may be planning stuff, but maybe they have something else non sinister planned. Let's stop jumping to conclusions....speaking of which...this post is huge...very un-Excel like...
Love ya all and I will always fight to uphold your freedom Smile

That is complete tripe right there...The only time we EVER have proof the liberals believe is WHEN the act has been committed.

Just because Sadam had bio labs with nerve gases and mustard bombs doesn't mean he was going to use them..Even though he gasses his own people on a daily basis.

Just because Saddam had 500 long range shelss that were un-loaded doesn't mean he was GOING to load them..Who Knows they could be flower vases.

Just because Germany and France were in negotiations with Iraq to exchange nuclear fuel for oil doesn't mean they were in league with Iraq in any way shape or form. They just wanted their cars to run and help a foreign country glow a lil' bit.

Damn work..Lost my train of thought..I'll belittle ya later..Toodles.
