Silver, thanks for the clarification. And you're not sub-human at all; I don't know the story, but I do hope you are feeling better soon. |

For real, Silver. You're a good guy. We all make mistakes, some of them really bad. That's no reason to totally beat yourself up. Hell, I've made plenty of mistakes in my time, but it's about making sure to put them right rather than to dwell on your failure. I know you'll pull through with dignity and honor, because those are things that you value, like I do.

Thanks for the well-wishing. I know that it seems silly to be so down about this, and from the outside, it must just look like I'm overrreacting, but the last week and a half has been less than stellar, as I've managed to compound the simple error into a complex one and had a few other things not go so well for me. It is the straw that breaks the camel's back, and things continue to go down the tubes for me - it's enough to have me break down in public. It's just that I feel less than human at the moment because of all of this. All of my, ah, security blankets have been shamelessly ripped away by passing beagles. When I fall down, I fall pretty hard, I guess. |

This sucks. I've been there and point in fact I am still there. You just have to keep your chin up and realize that life goes one, regardless of whether you want it to or not. You must know that things will get better, eventually. Sometimes it requires more than yourself to stand back up after a serious fall. I know I wouldnt be where I am now if it werent for my friends. And I know I speak for everyone when I say that we are here for you if you need us. |

Faye has a very good point. Friends are really what make life worth living and make all the hard times bearable. I don't know where I would be without my friends. Probably wallowing in despair somewhere contemplating dark and dangerous thoughts.
Faye is also right in that life does go on. Things will eventually get better. Having no inkling as to the nature of your problem, I can't really speak to how to go about fixing things or offering any better comfort, but since you keep saying that it's complicated I can only guess that it has something to do with your interaction with other people rather than something simple like school (yes, school is simple, it just happens to also be HARD).
You'll get through and you'll be stronger for it. I don't doubt it.
Also, I love your metaphore, Silver. Beagles... that's awesome. Go Sparky.

After a fairly extended conversation with Tobs the other night, I feel a little bit better. I do not know if it will stand up to stresses, but it's enough to keep chugging along. |

Heck, if there's one thing that I've learned throughout all the crap that I've had to deal with in my life it's the importance of always going on, no matter what. That's not to say that mistakes can be easily remedied, but they CAN be remedied and no matter how big the mistake it's never enough that you should get yourself bogged down. Forward motion, that's what it's all about!

Well...i hope i helped somewhat...all i did was show some insight as to what the situation might be.
Im on the internet lots Silver...you ever need to talk again about anything, im here for that. I just wish you good luck in your future endeavor with this situation...now knowing the full extent of it. Just remember that your not sub-human man...and that youve got many people here willing to back me up on that fact. Got it?
Now be happy, my friend, and dont let anything take you down from your happiness.

Yeah. If nothing else, look at all the people who have it worse than you do. Take poor Faye for example. He might end up having to room with me, of all people, just to be nearer the hub of PO activity. I mean, if there's anyone to be pitied and laughed at all at the same time it's him. Poor Faye. We knew him well. Then he came under Therin's influence...and was never the same again. |

*kicks Therin on the junk*
Anywho, we were talking...its a matter of believing in yourself man. You are a great guy...dont let something like this make you think your any less...cause you have great feelings, and it hurts to see someone with great feelings feeling so down.
I would lift your suspension that you have given yoruself on being "human" But only you can do that...but we all want to really badly...because your a good guy man.
