That reminds me of the time I "kissed" my best friend at prom. Everyone that saw was all weirded out by it and I don't really know why. I just though it was funny that we sturred up a ruckus. |

It's funny. My good friend and I are very affectionate, we're always cuddling or arm-in-arm, and we kiss each other on the cheek a lot. (We also bite as a sign of affection, but that's another story...) Everyone who sees us and doesn't know us gets all weirded out and quickly walks away.
It doesn't help that freshman year I had a ton of rumors spread about me that I was a lesbian. Stupid high school gossip. Plus my school's very conservative, they're even ignorant of the gay kids that do go here.

Yes, yes it does. Why the hell can't people just be accepting? Seriously. It's not like their lifestyle is hurting anyone! It's their own choice and their right to express their love for whomever they want! Anyone who tries to deny that right or take it away is just trying to brand them as less than human, and that's so wrong it bears no further explanation.
