Capcom's Monster Hunter?

Just got monster hunter today. My character's name is FENRIS.

Ive been prety busy at work lately (thats EB GAMES Dai :p ) and I havent had a chance to be on much the past few nights, I did get on the other day to do the kitty event quest tho, so Ill do it some more so I can get a pawprint weapon thing that the melynx use.

but I did at least get to upgrade my weapon into Bone Scythe+ finally tho

if you dont dual wield, may wanna check into it, its so much fun!

ok, well, I probably won't be able to get online with this game for a while, so I wanna know if the offline mode is good enough to keep me entertained for say a month?

I thought the single player was very entertaining. In fact I would not suggest playing it online until you have played through at least the first 2 quest levels of the single. That way you will start off with some decent equipment and a decent weapon, and it will give you a really good feel for the tactics it takes to be good at the game.

Not to mention, it is soooo much easier when you have other people to help. Dai and I took 3 Velocidromes with relative ease this afternoon. And they were a pain in the ass to take in the solo missions.

The single can entertain you for a couple of weeks, as long as you realize that the game was not ment to be played by just one person.

Sorry for the double post..... but I need help. I have the Strategy guide and for the life of me I cant figure out where to get Twisted Horns from. I need 2 for a Rapidcaster(I think that is what it is called).

Any help with where to get it or what I need to kill to get it would be greatly appreciated.

Twisted horn can be gotten 2 places:

first one is the Elder in the Jungle zone. Have a Plesioth or Cephalos fin on hand, and if he takes it from you, he will give you a twisted horn.

the only other way I know to get one is to fight and beat Diablos, and hope you carve it from him.

Shino, Faye, and I are going to try the Gyp later tonight for the one star Urgent, so a Diablos may be a bit out of our price range. Big thanks for the info, though, chicken bone. The strat guide is useless.

On a side note- anyone know whats up with the pig in the pawn room in the inn online? If you pet him the meat cooking music plays, and if you press the button at the right time (similar to cooking well done meat but slightly longer) it will get a heart over its head for a second then follow you around inside the room. Just curious if anyone knows about this, or knows how to find out about this.

Secondly- anyone know how to get + on armors? Weapons its upgradeable but I didnt know you could get it on armors?
