All I know about the pig is it'll bowl you over if you mess it up. More on that story as it develops.
And I had not clue you coudl + armors either. Another important tidbit that is not to be found in the, untimatly useless, strategy guide. |

You don't have to have any rank to dual weild. Twins swords are a split off of the sword/shield line.
Try hunter knife --> hunter knife+ --> hunter dagger --> hunter dagger+ --> assassin dagger --> twin dagger
or in the bone line go bonespike --> bone scythe --> bone scythe+ then either the gradios or cutlass line
Others are available at rank 13.
Dai: Two things ... 1) look at the book carefully. The info about plus armours is there (only available at rank 13), as well as the trade lists and info about twisted horn. 2) English is your friend. |

Yeah, my strat guide infor was coming from Faye >_< that was my first mistake. I brought up that you said that stuff was in there and he goes "Oh yeah, I found those thigns last night". Then I kicked him repeatedly for making me look like a foot.

You have to admit there are still problems. Theres no reason that they give every parameter for a weapon except its sharpness, and theres no reason several weapons blatantly have the wrong picture for a weapon. Also their combiantion list is a little screwy. Herb + Honey = Mega Potion? Not even close, strat guide. Imean if your going to pay 15$ for a guide (or con Faye into paying 15$ for it), then it shoudl at least be decent. In a month GameFAQs will have more reliable information for free on the net.

Yeah.... I didnt have a chance to really look over the strategy guide well, until last night when I decided to crash early. It a lot more helpful than I originally thought.
I found that trade list, and the mission that loads the twisted horn.... Rapidcaster here I come.

The guide does have a lot of errors in it and no sharpness is a HUGE oversight, but there still is a lot of good info.
Shino, I wouldn't recommend either the gradios, or the cutlass because the sharpness absolutely blows until you can make the final version. I'd recommend going with the cyclone for that reason. You do need quite a bit of machalite to make them, but they are very good.
Just to give an example how bad my cutlass are, I need to sharpen them 6 times fighting kut-ku and that;s going into red not down to yellow sharpness. Need to fight Khezu a few more times to upgrade them to Cutlass +.

OH! Apparently when you have the rook room or the something else room if you play with the pig a lot and get it to like you a lot the innkeeper gives you silver/gold tickets |
