I don't know whether it's undervaluing, but the school says that a certain amount of credit is required to graduate, and in music, the breadth of training necesssary probably forces the classes to be worth less credit-hours wise so that you can get all of them. It does place an unfair burden on the music major in achieving full-time status, though. |

i know better than most how hard it has been for you. you have a dream, and yes, accomplishing your dreams probably go along with great harships. sorry to hear that your school does not have any options. you could always figure out like 2 days out of the week that you can work, and apply to a bunch of resturaunts to be a busboy or a host. Seattle is the resturaunt capital of the country, i'm sure.

Frett not sperrit I am on my own....sorta and cannot even afford any degree of college b/c I have to pay for it all my self. but alas I must side with the rest a job would be a most wise choice |

Actually... I have a job now! I work at a Toy store kinda close to where I live (about 30 minutes by bus) and I work around 15 hours a week, which really doesn't add any relief to my time crunch, but I'm happy for the income. The manager's a little senile, but she's a good person and my coworkers are pretty easy-going. So, for now, things are good. Thanks for listening to my petty complaints.
