Trivia - Ringu (the Japanese version) had some of the same Japanese actors in it.

The Grudge was directed by the same guy who did the Japanese version so it was based off of itself.

And Gaaz - if you cover your eyes every time you see the kid meow in the commercial then you'd be spooked by the movie.

Okay, see, Shino-sama and Gaaz didn't -quite- get it right. At least, not in my opinion. I'm sure the movie -was- scary...just...for some reason, I can't take movies seriously anymore. So I ended up making rather amusing snarky comments at just about everything..and a movie can't really scare you if you're laughing at your own jokes, right?

well...The Ring really didnt scare me...so i think this movie wont really do much...but i still have to watch it.

From the sound of it, i think i'll be ok. I'll probably do the Shandriz-esque thing and just start making jokes on it...due to the fact that that IS my nature.

Yeah, Doot, I know it's awful of me to do. I try to keep quiet during movies, I really do, but I think I'd probably go insane if I actually did it. I just can't help thinking of funny stuff to say, and then I gotta say it.

I have not actually seen the movie yet, but I can't even watch the commercial for it on tv. When the little boy opens his mouth and screams like a cat, I about pee myself! I seriously doubt I will be seeing this one, though my husband is pressuring me to.

Okay, I don't usually get scared by scary movies, but I was freaked out watching this movie! I was clinging to Excel, and I think he was clinging to me, too. LOL. Even now, when we see the previews with the cat-kid screeching, we shudder.

I really like that they left the ending open. Did she die or not? Personally, I think she had to have. The thing was right there, and she was in a closed room. I like that. In most horror movies someone survives, but likely not in this one.

Boo, you have to see it! It is really scary, but it's a great movie! Besides, that is what husbands are for...clinging to in scary movies.
