Here's another great article I just read:
Gorilla wreaks havoc in zoo escape
At first I laughed at the headline, but then I read the article and laughed even harder at the fact that the gorilla really did, in fact, wreak havoc. I do feel bad for that poor woman who seemed to be on the biggest receiving end of the ape's havoc wreaking.
Best line from the entire story: "He got over the moat, which in itself is remarkable, because gorillas can't swim." |

Oh my goodness! I am very sorry to hear that people got hurt. In my opinion, though, this is all the more reason why I don't like zoos. Animals should not be kept locked up, they should be free to roam around.

I suppose you're right. Although the zoo that I've been to on many occasions (the Bronx Zoo) has a lot of space for the animals to roam, from what I remember. I suppose it's not IDEAL, but at least it's not the circus. |
